OK I replace the ice maker valve assembly on back of my frigidaire and it still is not making ice. There is no water going up plastic tube. I switched the electric wires and when I pushed the water dispenser the valve opened and water did go up ice tube. Not sure where to proceed now. It seems that the ice maker is not sending a signal to valve to send water? COuld it be the ice maker is froze up? Dave mtman1963@ymail.com

Sounds like you need a new icemaker. Before you commit to a new purchase, it would be a good idea to first confirm that you,re getting voltage to it. You can do this by setting your meter for the 200VAC range, and inserting the probes in the test ports marked, "L" and "V", which you will see when you remove the face cover from the icemaker.
