Older Inglis dryer just stopped providing heat. Have tested continuity - found no current in black wires to timer control, to temperature control and to fuse on blower (re fuse: does the fuse unit come apart? I cannot check to see if blown). How do we tell which unit is at fault? Cannot find manual on this site for this model no.

First thing I would check is the power going to the dryers, terminal block this is located at the back of the dryer, where the dryer plug enters inside the dryer. There may be a small cover to be removed to find the block. There should be 240 volt at the block, also check there for a burnt wire, if so repair.

Thanks for you reply. Have checked the power block (there is 240 volt at the block) and all wires in that area are sound. Have ckecked wires for damage or burn out signs and they seem fine. The only wires not testing live are the 3 black wires going to the temperature control, the timer control dial (but control dial works), and possibly to the fuse in the blower (not sure if it is the fuse because we do not have a diagram - is one available through this website?).
