my dryer dries normal but the noise is unbearable. sometimes it squeaks and sometimes it rumbles, like the belt is dragging or something hung in the motor. any advice to the problem? Thanks

There are four slides (bearings) that the tub rides on at the front and one bearing at the center of the tub on the back. If it is over five years I think it is best to go ahead and replace all five bearings. Also sometimes the blower wheel will become loose, this will cause kind of a roaring noise. Check that and if so tighten the screw on the clamp and it should be ok.

These pages will help.
