I have a coil kit and replacing these seems pretty straight forward as noted on one of the posts here. I am looking for a diagram or install procedures for my make and model. I saw that these coils are usually in front - but my machine looks like you would have to remove the whole front? It's a front loader. Any direction on my particular model is much appreciated.

Using a putty knife, push in the two clips on top of the front panel to release the top panel.

Lift the top panel up and remove the screw on each side of the front panel.

Pull the top part of the front panel toward yourself and release it from the tabs on the bottom.

Remove the wires from the door switch (draw a picture of the wires for your self first) and put the front panel aside.

Now you can access the coils.

Thanks Gene. I completed this job in just under 50 minutes including a thorough vacuuming of the machine while the panel was removed. The hardest part of the job was finding a philips in my arsenal that was small enough to get in and take the coil braket off. Thanks again for the reply!

David,

I'm glad you were able to fix it.

Gene.
