:mad: My dryer will stay on and the timer stays at the same position. if i turn the timer to off while running it will shut it off. is my timer bad or the on and off switch to start it?

Your timer motor attached to the timer is bad. They do not sell that as a separate item. You will need a new timer AP2976318
