Dryer Timer advances, but does not turn off, dryer does not get hot

I just changed the timer and it still does not turn off. running dryer now with clothes but dosen't appear to be getting hot. Lint filter and air vent are clean. What do I do?

A model number may help others help you.
Also does it advance/turn off in timed dry mode? |
