I have a front load whirlpool dryer and the blower moter is not working. The shaft of the moter does spin but it humms and gets very warm, any suggestions?

Does the tumbler spin? If so, your blower wheel may be "freewheeling" or broken. Here's the part number. Part number: AP3776435
