Machine has been fine until last week. Freezer at 50 food compartment at 56. Unplugged and let stand overnight. Plugged back in and everything worked fine for two days. Freezer went below 0 and food compartment to 34. Back to same problem.

This sounds like a main board problem. Sometimes the main board will get a loose solder joint on the back of the board, which can cause an intermitting cooling problem.

Unplug the refrigerator and remove the main board. Look on the back of the board and see if there is any burnt solder joints. If so you can try to repair the solder if you have a solder gun and are comfortable doing this type of repair or you can simply replace the board.

If there are no loose solder joints the main board is still the likely problem. But you need to check other things such as the fans and the defrost system. Make sure both fans are running and look in the back of the freezer to see if it is covered in ice. If so you have a defrost problem. If this is the case or you need any other help post back and we will go from there.
