I have a Whirlpool top load washer, model #LSQ9010KT0 It makes a high pitched squeaky, squealy noise while washing. I hear it less during the rinse cycle but I'm not sure if that is just because the sound of the spinning overrides the squeal. Do you know what this is?
Thanks,
Vera

Well, we probably do know what it is but we would have to be there to listen to it, and based on the type of noise and where it is coming from we could probably tell what the problem is.

Since we are not there, take off the cabinet and by pass the lid switch and run the machine to see if you can tell where it is coming from. This site will tell you how to do that.
