The left front burner on my Thermador oven won't light. It sparks but doesn't light. The other burners all work. I've cleaned and correctly positioned the burner cover with no results. What is wrong and how do I fix this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Do you smell gas when you try to light it?

no smell of gas. I am going to guess I have a bad potentiometer. After reading all the replies, this may be the culprit.
