Freezer works fine, 0 Degrees. refrigerator won't go below 40 degrees. side by side divider very warm to the touch (not burning hot) coil fan working properly. Cool air coming out the vent up top in the refrigerator but not enough or not cold enough. Any ideas. Bart

Sounds like the temp control for refrig. is not working properly.
Pull knobs off, and remove the cold air damper control unit. On mine it was white nylon finger that pushes a trap door open to let cold freezer air into the refrig.
The gas tube coil wouldn't work the finger properly, and the frig. wouldn't cool enough.
Replaced that part $70, and it workes fine.
I even took it out and there was a small hole in the wall between freezer and frig for more cooling. I adjusted it some, and it worked fine with out anything in the frig. Kept it at about 40 on frig. side, and -10 on freezer.
Might work for you. My refrig was an Amana side by side.
