My Bosch SHU5316UC/U11 was running extended cycles and I did the board solder repair which worked. I ran two cycles that way.
When putting the front cover back on one of the wires plugging into the board got pushed out so I didn't have power.

I opened it back up and plugged the wire in but now the machine displays "CL" (indicates a cycle is done and the wash is clean) but that indication will not go away when I open the door or power off.
I can not reset it by holding other buttons and it will not go into test mode.
I turned off the breaker for the machine for several hours and it had no effect.
The solder looks good still.

Is my board shot or is a wire somehow plugged in wrong somewhere?
Is there some kind of switch that tells the machine, once its clean, that the door has been opened and the unit resets?

Thanks for any help

The board resets when cycle finished after you turn the power switch "off" and "on".

Which wire got pushed out? There is no single wires plugged into the board.

I should clarify that.
When I said a wire got pushed out, what I meant was that one of the plugs from the wiring harness unplugged from its spot on the control board (its hanging down after all).
I just plugged it back in.
It was the one on the left side of the board looking at the front of the dishwasher...the one on the power button side of the control board.

I also noticed last night that when I press the power on button, CL lights up but the machine sounds like it runs the last few seconds of a cycle and then stops again, as if it just finished.

Sounds like the problem is a bad control module.

- The part number for the control module is AP2802870

ok, got the machine up and running.
i unplugged each plug to the control board and cleaned the contacts.
i also very carefully lined each up when i put them back in. they can easily be slightly out of line and not make good contact.
this did the trick and i'm back up and running.

i would advise to be very careful when putting the front cover back on the machine as its easy to knock a wire loose.
in doing that, i would also recommend to only put two to four screws back in, close and test the machine before putting the entire front cover on, just to make sure you haven't knocked anything loose in getting the top portion on.
