I shut my microwave door, just a little bit harder than normal, and it threw the circuit breaker for my kitchen. We tested the plug the microwave it plugged into, and it is working fine. the problem in with the microwave itself. it is a Whirlpool WMH1162XVQ-1, we have had it a little over 1 year. It has had no abuse, but we have used it's defrost function sometimes. this shouldn't be happening, so what is going on?

Inspect the door switches to make sure the switches aren't jammed, or the plastic door hooks aren't broken.
