I recently replaced the blower wheel as dryer was making noise when starting up and stopping (sounded like boot rolling around in dryer). Dryer was back to normal for a few days and then a new noise started, more of a constant vibration noise that is quite loud. The dryer works fine as far as drying clothes and heat. Understanding that it is a 12 year old dryer I suspect something else is worn or maybe when we had blower replaced it wasn't put back together quite right. Any suggestions for troubleshooting?

This is difficult for us because the main diagnosis of your problem involves being there and listening, and we can't do that can we?

Given the age I am going to say to open it and replace the rear rollers and front bearings, a pretty easy and inexpensive task. While you have it open make sure the motor turns easily and that nothing is hung up on the drum or blower.
