Water is leaking at the fill hose inlet on the side of the dishwasher. Water leaks out any time the dishwasher is filling.

Is it possible that the inlet valve is allowing too much water to get by when the dishwasher is filling up?

I looked at the inlet hole inside the dishwasher itself, and it is not blocked. I probed it slightly with a screwdriver, and it didn't seem like there was any gunk there blocking the flow.

I am a little stumped here, and I will trash this dishwasher if I can't find the source of the leak!

Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks to all in advance!

Here's the info that I got off of the dishwasher:

Make - Whirlpool
Serial Number - FA 23 18090
Model Number - DU8920XX-0
Stock Number - DU8920X

Here are your parts

Pull the unit forward till you can see the fill port on the left side.

Could be something as simple as a cracked hose or a bad clamp.
