Greetings

My Jenn Air slide-in range has begun displaying an FC error code. According to the repair manual, this indicates a communication error of some kind. The listed remedies are: check J2 harness and if that is ok, replace the PRB (Power Relay Board). In addition to the FC code, the cooling has been coming on far too early...at about 220 degrees.

I checked and reseated the J2 wiring harness and it appeared to be fine. So I replaced the PRB, but the FC code still remains.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Bassoonman,

The first thing I would do is replace the J2 wire harness. If it would not help then the PRB could be defective and should be exchanged under the parts warranty by the place who sold it to you.

- The part number for the wire harness is AP368842

Here are the break down diagrams for the Jenn Air range Model SVE47600B
