Am having a couple problems with my GE Profile Arctica refrigerator model #PSS29NGNAWW. First problem: About a week ago I noticed it was not making ice. After inspection I found a block of ice under the ice maker with a few icicles running to the shelf below. The ice block was solid from the bottom of the ice maker to the white plastic cover/shelf below the maker and almost completely surrounding the paddle switch. The ice maker light was/is on solid green. I removed the block and then noticed there was no ice in the maker tray. I then found the water delivery tube and funnel somewhat dislodged from the back of the icemaker. Remedied that situation, cycled power to the ice maker and waited for something to happen. After a couple hours and nothing happening, I manually started a cycle by rotating the ice ejectors around until a cycle started. The cycle finished, but no water was delivered at the end. I then found your forum and learned how to reset the unit by cycling power and depressing the paddle 3 times in 5 seconds, which worked. A cycle started and completed by filling the tray with water (no water leaked out of tube, funnel or tray, so I think the whole ice block problem has been remedied). Now that ice does not eject and I cannot manually or by reset start a cycle. By reading other threads I think I am at the point of replacing the ice maker and want to make sure the model I need is a WR30X10093. Am I missing anything else that I can try? Second problem, For some time now when the paddle to deliver ice/water is depressed while trying to dispense ice, the ice delivery system comes on and goes off repeatedly. Sometimes one has to continually engage and disengage the dispenser paddle to fill a complete cup with ice. Is there an adjustment on the micro switch triggered by the paddle? This problem does not happen with water deliver.
