I disconnected the water to the kitchen faucet and shut the water off to the dishwasher. When I turned the water back on to the dishwasher and tried to run it, the dishwasher was working but the water wasn't entering the dishwasher. I checked to see if there was water reaching the dishwasher and found that it is. help?

Hi I have a Fisher & Paykel soft touch dishwasher that will not fill compleatley with water and when the pump starts it will not reach full pressure and spin the washer heads, If I add extra water via a bucket it works fine. Can someone tell me what the problem is, Syd
