Any ideas on how to remove the motor from the blower wheel without breaking it off. It seems to be seized on.

Denman .....exactly what is a right/left hand thread and what would one do with it. Get to your blower fan from the rear using a pair of vise grips on the motor shaft to secure a tight grip. get yourself a box or open end wrench that will stretch across the entire width of the fan, a bar extention, an adjustable wrench. midway down the wrench you should place the adjustable snug tight around the thin part of your wrench..... with the bar placed in the hole at the end of the adjust wrench now turn clockwise breaking the torque then spin the fan off. easy wasn't it.
