Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 2/10/2010(UTC) Posts: 4		We have a GE GSM1800J00WW dishwasher -or GSM1800JWW The problem - when we start the machine no water enters the wash bay. In addition I checked the lower spin bar and its does not move.By that I mean it spins freely but when I shut the door, turn it on, off and open the blade hasn’t moved We had a service tech come out and he explained I could do the repair myself and save a few hundred dollars. Dummy that I am I lost the notes on what parts I should be purchasing - IIRC he did not think it costly. I have been viewing the exploded motor diagrams for the unit but for the life of me I’m stuck. Any ideas would be great - my wife is none too happy.

The problem most likely is a bad water inlet valve (#27 on the diagram). - The water inlet valve Part number: AP3794563 Gene.
