Hi All, I am having a problem with my stovetop signal light. After using my front Left Burner (Largest) on the stove, the Hot Surface Signal Light will not shut off. Can someone help me with this problem. What will I need to do to correct this dilemma. The only way it will shut down is if you tap the top of the stovetop and it will evetually turn off. I really don't like doing this for fear of shattering the glass top. Please help:confused: ?

On my stove, the light stays on, and the largest (9 inch) burner cycles on/off at its lowest temperature. Basically, after using the 9 in burner, it will never turn off until I turn off the circuit breaker and wait for it to cool down, then it will remain off until I use it again. Did you ever figure out what was wrong with yours?
