Over the past five months, this three year old dishwasher has been leaving more and more debris. Yesterday, the washer started to leak soap suds out of the front right corner. I removed the soap cube and ran the rinse and drain. No leakage, but the water stood in the bottom center of the tub.

I pulled the drainage hose at the food disposal and while there was a minimal amout of build up, there was certainly not enough to keep the water from draining. I looked at the hose where it meets the pump and it looked clear.

At this point, should I be looking at replacing the pump or is there a filtration unit that needs to be inspected first? I have gone as far as to pull the lower spray arm, but stopped when I got to the kazillion hex-head screws on the pump.

Your suggestions would be appreciated.
