Our dishwasher soap dish was not opening, so we had a repairman out and he said it was the soap dish actuator not working properly. We ordered the part and installed it, but it doesn't seem to help. Either the soap dish opens prematurely, if the actuator is screwed all the way in, or doesn't open at all, if it is left standing out a little. Is there a way to see if there is power getting to the actuator? Maybe it's not getting the power to kick the dish open.
