Check power outlet -ok, found out heating element cut into several pieces (some even stuck to the metal housing!). Which parts were likely affected that i need to check and replace. Specific model diagram and parts number will be very much appreciated....tnx

lych,

Most likely you have to replace: the heating element (#14 on the break down diagram), the hi-limit thermostat (#34 on the break down diagram), the thermal fuse (#59 on the break down diagram) and the cycling thermostat (#42 on the break down diagram).

- The part number for the heating element is AP3094254

- The part number for the hi-limit thermostat is AP3131941

- The part number for the thermal fuse is AP3132867

- The part number for the cycling thermostat is AP3131939

Gene.
