 Over night my fridge stopped working along with freezer. Called a hotline and was told to unplug for a few minutes as this may cause it to reset, needless to say it didn't work. Took front grill off and swept all dust etc. I can feel cool air in freezer part and hear it blowing, fridge isn't cold at all. Going to pull it away from wall and take back off to clean, do you think this will help. Will deeply appreciate any advice thanks

Here are your parts Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL GD5SHAXMQ00 Refrigerator | AppliancePartsPros.comHere is a tech sheet http://www.servicematters.com/docs/wiring/Wiring%20Sheet%20-%202255774.pdfIt is always best to look under behind the kick plate for the tech sheet that usually comes with the unit. Going to pull it away from wall and take back off to clean, do you think this will help. No, sounds like the unit is too warm to be just inefficient cooling. First you have to determine if the compressor is running. It should be warm/hot, humming and/or vibrating a little. Also check that the condensor/compressor fan is running. If running Remove the evaporator coil cover in the freezer so you can see the coils. Is the evaporator fan running? If coils are heavily frosted/iced over you have a defrost problem. If there is only frost in one area, usually where the freon enters the coils, or it is blotchy, then you probably have a low freon problem. If not running Check that there is voltage at the compressor. If no voltage, then you have a control problem. One of the boards or the thermistor etc. If there is voltage Then probably the relay/overload, the capacitor or the compressor is toast.
