I purchased a home which has a Dacor double wall oven, the lower of which does not appear to have ever been used. The upper oven works fine, but when trying to start the lower oven initially the control panel shows 135 degrees and it is stable for about ten seconds and then the display extinuishes for that oven. The time remains displayed, it is just the information on the lower oven that disappears. I have tried reseating the connections to the circuit board on the right hand side behind the display panel thinking it may be a loose connection but this made no difference. I looked at the costs of replacing the circuit boards and prices go from $100 to $400 so I will have the have a pretty clear idea of which might need replacing before I would want to make the purchase. Could you give me an idea of what might need to be fixed or replaced, thanks.

Was thanked: 4 time(s) in 4 post(s)
Most likely the problem is a bad Electronic Range Control (ERC).

- The part number for the ERC is AP3391728

This also happened to me. Did you replace the electronic range control? Was it hard to do?
