Hope someone can help. I have a Kenmore 90 Series dryer that is working great except that it stops in the middle of the cycle. Doesn't seem to matter if it's the timer or the auto dry. I have already replaced the thermistor, thought it was allowing the temp range to be too high. it has stopped during air dry or any of the fabric settings. I monitored the voltage on the motor relay, BU (it goes through the timer) and it looked steady. it seems the relay is clicking off at just about the time the dryer turns off. No buzzer turns on, so i'm guessing that the timer seems good. I think i'm down to the even heat card, but would like suggestions to check anything else before I go buying that.

Before replacing any other parts try this.
Gain access to the motor,
If there is any lint at all on it then make sure
to give it a good cleaning. Make sure both
the front and rear sides of the motor are clean.
Then give it a tests run.

Stick 115 volts to motor pins 4&5 and let it run and check if it turns itself off, if ok you probably have a bad pc board.

glen65 & richappy -- Thank you for the information an suggestions. I did open up the dryer and cleaned out the motor, boy was it dusty and dirty. I didn't have any test jumpers to test the motor though. I looked several minutes at the diagrams and considered jumpering around the relays and pc board to turn the motor on, but decided not to. The correct way was to test the motor isolated from the dryer circuits and since I didn't have a safe way to do that right then decided not to test the motor. Packed everything back up and did a test run (cotton temp, timed dry for 60 minutes). It didn't stop. I'll run it some more before I consider it a success, but this is a positive step. Thanks again!
