My maytag doesnt agitate or spin, it goes thru the timer cycle and clicks on it 60 sec intervals, i hear the timer motor humming, it may agitate for 2 minutes sometimes, but mostly not, it may spin for a small time, sometimes, then it will drain the tub at the end of cylcle, i havent ripped into it yet, what should i suspect is wrong, the timer circiuit seems to function, I dont thik its that, when it drains it sometime spins...What gives
Thx frustrated Martin Peraza

Sounds like the motor overheating and shutting down on it's overload. I would use a meter and confirm the motor overload opening up. Also, check that the proper voltages are going to it from the timer.
