Here are your parts Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL REX3514RQ1 29"electric Dryer | AppliancePartsPros.comHere is the wiring diagram Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL REX3514RQ1 29"electric Dryer | AppliancePartsPros.comNote: this may be a pain to find. Electric dryer. coils heat up then shut down. Checked and cleaned all vents. Dryer will run just not heat up. If I understand you correctly, you turn the unit on, the coils heat up then shut off and never come back on (cycle)? Have you let it run till it is cooled all the way down to see if the heater will turn back on? Have you tried different heat cycles? If yes, is there any difference in the symptoms? My guess is that the heating coil is opening when it heats up and reconnecting when it cools all the way down. But I cannot explain why it does not reconnect when the unit cools and is running. Could also be a bad cycling thermostat or hi-limit thermostat. May even be a bad/loose connector in the heater circuit. |
