My dryer just stopped running this morning after it had been on about 5 minutes. The timer still worked; a breaker was not thrown. I just tried it again and it came on. However, the element glows red hot, and I was told that meant it was going out. I am unsure if it is unsafe to use or not.

How it's working now? Does it make any noises at start time?

What is the complete model number of the dryer?

Gene.
