Hi,
The door handle cracked and needs to be replaced.
However, I can locate only 1 screw that attached to the handle at the top. There doesn't seem to be a way to remove the lower portion of the handle.
Thanks, John

If it is like my GE Advantium door, the other screw is behind the metal part of the door. You need to separate the plastic front of the door from the metal back part of the door by prying the outer edges of the plastic away from the metal where the little plastic tabs are holding the metal part in. Once the pieces are separated, you should see the second screw.

Can this be done with a putty knife. Or, is there a right way or wrong way to "pry" off the plastic piece? I just had mine break and wonder if i can do this myself.

I have the same problem, same unit. Were you able to fix the door yourself without doing damage to the unit? If you did fix it please let me know how you got the back off the dooe to locate the screw. Thanks
