frigidaire FDB1502RGC0 dishwasher set for normal wash and heat dry option, both leds are on. dishwasher cycles through wash, but never makes it to dry cycle. After wash, the leds for OPTIONS high temp wash and dry cycle start blinking and do not stop blinking until I hit cancel - which cancels everything. Open unit and water sitting in bottom. Is it a bad operator panel? Water pump did seem to be working during wash cycle. NEED HELP.

Here are your parts. Note for a RGB0 not a RCB0 Replacement parts for FRIGIDAIRE FDB1502RGB0 Frigidaire/dishwasher | AppliancePartsPros.comHere is a tech sheet http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodinfo_pdf/Kinston/154595301en.pdfAnd a manual http://frigidaireservicetips.com/pdfs/484_2.pdfTry different cycle types, could be it is hanging up due to a water temperature problem. Run diagnostics. Check the heater, hi-limit thermostat and thermistor with a meter. If all OK odds are it is the control board. Perhaps try the following though it is a long shot Connector Cleaning / Checking Unplug the unit Open it up Remove the ribbon cable from the keypad to the control board at the control board. Clean the edge connector. If it is the type where there is not a connector just the insulation is removed, it can be cleaned with a pencil eraser. Do not use an ink eraser as it is too abrasive. Check the tracks in the ribbon cable for hairline cracks. A magnifying glass helps here. Would not hurt to clean the connector on the board. Use electronics contact cleaner or isopropyl alcohol and a tooth brush. Be gentle and do not reconnect till all the solvent evaporates. Reconnect everything and give it a try. |
