Occaisionally would arc, ...now all the time. Should I attempt repair replacing magnetron (diagm #1008, P/N AP3192994); and, would it be advisable to replace Mag thermostat diagm #1130, P/N AP3192016) and Mag supporter (diagm #1135, )? I also must replace the wave guide cover (diag #5526, P/N AP3792134). I am very mechanically adept and have almost 30 years experience in Pro A/V installation and repair. Is this something I should attempt or am I better off calling the GE Service tech?

Hi

Did you repair your microwave? I have the same model and it to was arcing when in use. It finally just stopped working. I am also wondering if I should replace some of those same parts. Please let me know if it worked for you.

Thanks
