Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 1/24/2010(UTC) Posts: 1		I've read several postings with the same problem as mine, the washer simply quit working and has no power and water remains. It seems to be a thermal fuse from reading the other posts. However, I can't find a thermal fuse for my Whirlpool Quite Partner III model number GU2500XTB7. From what I understand it is supposed to be on the control panel and I can't find it, also can't find one on the parts break down. Any suggestions?

Also be sure to check the vent. If it is stuck closed it could cause a heat build up, this depndes on the unit see the tech sheet.
