We had an electrical surge that burnt out the control panel in our dishwasher. We had someone come out and look at it, they said it would need to be replaced, but wanted over $500 to do it. So, we are wanting to find out how hard it would be to replace it ourselves.
We also need to replace the electronic control panel for our oven due to the electrical surge as well. It is a Fridgidare model number FEFL79DSF. Would the process be similar to that of replacing the panel on the dishwasher??
Please help, we don't know what we are doing, but cannot afford to replace the appliances or pay someone the labor to do it either. Thanks so much :)
