Admiral 48000, s/n CA4402752
When opening the lid the clothes are still damp, the tub spins, the pump is clean and clear as is the piping for the drain. It almost seems like the timer isn't running "spin" long enough.
A clue maybe is.......the drum starts to rotate while still full of water, so the spin starts slow. Should the pump evacuate the water first and then spin the drum ?

Was thanked: 4 time(s) in 4 post(s)
Did it shake while it was spinning? If it goes off balance then it would not go on full speed. The same thing could happen if the washer has been overloaded.

For more accurate advise we need the complete model number of the washer. The model number you posted does not look as a valid model number or it's too old.

No abnormal operation before. The model is AH 48000
It was suggested that maybe the brake is releasing too early.
How empty should the drum be after the cycle ?
I can't see water in the bottom of the drum but can hear it just below the drum. The top clothes are dryer than the bottom clothes.
maybe the timer isn't running long enough ?
