The CCGP2820P, Jenn Air is a six burner gas stove top, which was converted to LPG during initial installation. One burner no longer lights when the burner is control dial turned to the light position. There is a spark from the igniter but the gas does not ignite. The burner can be lit using a long match or BBQ lighter. What is the likely problem and what needs to be done to repair this?

Thanks.

Dear J Black,

There are three possibliies. The burner switch, the igniter or water may have spilled over onto either one. Changing both will still be less expenive than having a tech come to your home.
