Last friday when I came home. I noticed that everything in my refrigerator was warm and everything in my freezer was toughing out and the ice was melting. I first thought that we had a power outage and that the refrigerator/freezer just needed to be reset. So I unpluged it, waited a few minutes and pluged it back in, nothing. So I turned the control knob to off and back to the #4 setting where I had it originally. It came back on and seemed to be working, cooling and freezing after a couple of hours and working through the weekend.
When I came home tonight I noticed that things were warm again. Frustrated, need help.:(

Most likely the problem is a bad cold control (aka thermostat).

- The part number for the cold control is AP3037004
