The heating element stays on even when turned off on the front panel. It will only go off when the door is left open. That would cut all power to it. I have to get into the door to replace the handle that broke in pieces about a year ago so the circuits there should be available to test. I know the element is ok or it would not heat. Would the thermostat limiters cause it to be continually powered on even overnight? I don't think so.. I am leaning towards control board but I hope not as it gets expensive. Advice?
