I bought a whirlpool w10134009 which arrived about 30 minutes ago. This is aheating element with threaded posts. How do I unscrew the one in the machine and then get this screw in. The round tops are brass and do not appear to be able to be screwed in. I am in a quandry. brian from Lomg island

For you would probably be easier to turn off breaker and pull dishwasher out.. remove the heater nuts on the under side...

Ther are nuts on the underside? I thought I could do it from the topside before I bought the part.

Yep.. 2 plastic nuts hold the heater in...
