Defroster not working. Lots of ice on freezer coils. Defrosted myself via hair dryer. Appliance repairman tested and ruled out defrost heater kit (#230) and thermostat (#240), which were apparently still functional. Feels Sensor Temp (#241) is unlikely culprit, altho did not test. Recommended replacing Main Control Board (#801). Your thoughts? Is there anything else we may have missed before I order the expensive Control Board?

It maybe either your evap-thermister or frz-thermister. The control board has to know that the freezer is below zero temp before it will engage the defrost cycle.
