How difficult/confusing is it to replace the timer assembly? What tools are required?
Repair cost thru a service technician is approx $200, but the part (AP3116038) on your site is $56 (less than half of the quoted part price from the technician).
I haven't done much self repairs, but may be willing to try in lieu of buying a new dryer.
