Display not working. Show F2 Fault code and E6 Error code. Keypad seems to work, able to turn lights on/off. Other keys beeps but no display.

Tried the recommended repair procedure except replace control. Since the keypad is working does it seem that I would need to replace the control board? If so , what is the part # for URL for my model GBD307PDQ09?
Thanks,
jg

According to the error code explanation from the tech sheets (page 2) the "F2-E6" code means "Cancel key drive line open".

Turn off the power to the oven. Open the control panel and remove the control panel ribbon from the control board slot.

Turn on the power to the oven and wait a few hours.

If the error code returns - replace the control board.

If the error code would not return - replace the control panel.

- The part number for the control board is AP3595759

In order to provide the right part number for the control panel I need the color of it.

Gene,
Thanks for your feedback. I Did what you indicated. Removed the ribbon from the board, now I get F2 E1 message on the display. According to your suggestion below I should replace the control panel? Previously I was bale to use the keys on the control panel to turn the lights on/off.

I have a white oven panel. The oven has only been used less than 12 times in the last 4 yrs.

So what part should I replace? Are the electrical connector to the board removable? Again, thanks in advance for you comments.
Thanks,
jg

Open the control panel and, using an eraser, clean the ribbon end. Plug it back into the control board.

If the "F2-E6" error code returns - replace the control panel.

- The part number for the control panel is AP3043892

The "F2-E1" error code means the control board does not sense the control panel ribbon (you unplugged it). It's normal.

Gene,
I secured the ribbon back to the board and get the F2-E1 error code. So the question is , which part is at fault and/or should be replaced, the control board or control panel?
Thanks,

Well, before we make any costly decision I would recommend to make sure the ribbon is plugged all the way in.

Gene,
The ribbon is all the way in and secured but still get the F2-E1 error code. Perhaps the ribbon is damaged? Funny things was initially the panel keys worked now they don't. Perhaps the ribbon is damaged? What's your assessment Board or Panel? Is there a part just for the ribbon?
Thanks,
jg

This is very confusing situation. Based on the first error code I'll start with the control panel but I can not guarantee that the control board is not faulty too.
