I don't know if this will help in your case or not, I have a posting like yours, (no responses), but after tearing into my fridge...removed back lower panel, I found the motor running and the compressor attempting to cycle on and off every minute or so. Unplug the fridge and if the set up is like mine, there is a wire running into the compressor, black roundish part. remove retaining clip, on my model there is a capcitor, then overload switch and terminal cover. Mine was faulty (shake it and if it ratttles, from what I learned it is bad). You should be able to look up the parts and order. May or may not help. Good luck.
