A hole was burned through the bake element. We replaced the bake element and it still does not work. Does the fire/spark from the bake element going bad typically cause something else to not work?

You may have a burnt wire or connector at the back of the oven. It should be easy to spot. Be sure to unplug it before exposing yourself to any wiring. It kills without prejudice.

Thanks! We replaced the main control panel/clock yesterday and it's working again.
