Have an undercounter GI1500XHS1 whirlpool ice maker. Stopped producing ice some time ago. Ran the cleaning cycle, which produced one sheet of ice. Ran mineral cleaner through the cleaning cycle, and one layer of ice is produced. Replaced the pump last week, ice maker runs, but doesn't produce ice.

Any ideas what could be causing my problem and which part(s) need to be replaced?

Thank you,

If you don't already have the service and wiring sheet No. 2185734-A then google servicemattersdotcom and weave your way thru tech references to wiring diagrams and input your model number... You'll find this sheet which outlines alot of helpful info regarding your machine... You may have a control issue but hard to tell at this point... cheers, kooler

I've replaced the pump. Last night I replaced the water valve. This morning, there is ice on the plate, but no ice in the bin. Anyone out there have any additional ideas?

Thanks for any help.

Did the ice make it to the grid, or is it stuck on the plate?
