Hey,
I have a Frigidaire Dishwasher (FDB435RFR4) that is fairly new and has just stopped working. I noticed one day when I set it to wash and it was making a running noise for a while and I checked the dial and it had not moved more than a couple centimeters.
After some looking around the net I tried to manually move the timer slowly and from what I know is going through all the cycles (although it doesn't pop open the soap dispenser). I am assuming it is the timer based on this, but I don't know much about washing machines. I also wouldn't want to replace the timer right off the bat since it is a new machine and that part is around ~$100. Is there anything else I can do to see what the problem is?
When I leave the timer by itself in a cycle and put my ear to it I can hear some sort of noise, almost like it is trying to spin but it just doesn't lol.
Thanks for the help!
Dave

Thanks denman for the reply! This Dish washer has been pretty weird to me. If I run it on "Normal Wash" it runs perfectly up until it hits the "Short Wash" and then that's when things start hanging up. It definitely heats up (if I open it up while it is 'washing' the water is very hot/there is steam). This may sound like a poor question.. But who would I go through for the warranty: the place where it was bought from or frigidaire? The unit was bought by my landlord before I moved so I am not sure if he got a warranty at ABC Warehouse (where it was bought) or if they even offer them, heh.
