My water dispenser keeps freezing up and won't dispense water,until i turn off the freezer for several hours and then it apparently thaws and starts dispensing again and about a day or two freezes up again.HELP!

GE makes a heater that should correct this problem. The part number is WR49X10173.

One other thing that can cause it is the flap that opens to let ice down the shoot. If it is cracked open it can let cold air get to the line and cause it to freeze. Hope this helps! Refrigerator repair guide
