My electric dryer is shutting off mid cycle when I run it on high heat. It does not shut off mid cycle when running it at low heat. After it shuts off mid cycle, we can start it back up after waiting a few minutes. I cleaned out the lint trap from the drum all the way to the outside vent thoroughly, and it still shuts off. Any help on what to look at would be appreciated. Thank you!

See if you can open it up and take out the drum and clean the inside, particularly around your motor. It may be that the lint inside the dryer is causing the motor to overheat and its thermal protection is shutting it down. This would explain why you can start it up again and why it happens on high heat.
