My dryer is 14 months old and now when the drum turns it sounds like a grinding sound, I went as far as taking the belt off and turned it by hand and didn't get any grinding sound, I turned the motor by hand and didn't get any sound, I made sure it wasn't nothing caught up anywhere, sometimes it seems like it could be one of the ( i guess it probably could be called the aligning wheels, its two wheels) one wheel have alittle more play than the other one, when I turn the wheels by hand I don't get any noise but soon as I set the drum on it, it seems like it squeaks, it still dryes but its very irritating

This will probably be a pain to find

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL WED5820SW0 29"electric Dryer | AppliancePartsPros.com

If possible try to narrow down where the racket is coming from though I know this is often impossible.

Often grinding is the front supports see Item 38 in Section 1 (bearing/front seal).

Check that the idler wheel is OK.

Try rotating the motor shaft while putting pressure on it in the direction that the belt pulls on it. Also check the following.

Check that the blower wheel is properly attached to the motor shaft and nothing has fallen into the blower.

If all OK then you may want to replace the rear support rollers.
I would get the following kit as it includes the tri-rings which hold the rollers on as you will probably break at least one of these while taking them off. Also I would not order anything till you get the rollers off as you can then inspect the support shafts for wear and also replace them if necessary.
